Aids & Equipment

The Aids &Equipment Co-ordinator and his Personal Assistant visit people in their homes and invite clients to visit the shop at Head Office, to show them the latest equipment and software that will enable people with sight loss to be independently mobile inside and outside their homes.

There is a huge range of technology and the Aids and Equipment team give people access to the latest I.T gadgets which are appropriate for the individual person’s needs, to make leaving the house a safe and positive experience.

Throughout lockdown, and now still today, our Aids and Equipment Service has been running.  Our Head Office is operating a busy telephone service and face to face appointments.

We can also still deliver a remote service, such as delivering emergency equipment, replacing broken canes, sending out replacement batteries or magnifiers, dealing with requests for computers and assisting with smartphone problems.
