Donate Today & Change Lives

ESVS needs to raise £300,000 a year to continue providing services for people who are blind or partially sighted and living in East Sussex. Raising money is challenging at the moment so we seek to raise funds from lots of different sources including donations from individuals, applications to grant-making Trusts and Foundations, fundraising events and contracts from East Sussex County Council.

Making a one-off or regular donation will help ESVS to continue our work with local people who are blind or partially sighted.

Why not Fundraise?

ESVS has been supported by all sorts of wonderful fundraisers over the years. Some people have hosted raffles and tea parties while others have jumped out of planes and trekked across the desert! There are countless ways to raise money for charity: you can challenge yourself or play to your strengths, or just have a fun time while helping other people.

“At the start I wasn’t open to looking at charities like ESAB. I know it would have made a lot of difference but I wasn’t ready to be independent. I was introduced to ESAB when I had mobility training from Rachel and that was massive for me. The courses are also great and now I go to the Tuesday Club too where I socialise with like-minded people.  It’s great to just have fun!”

“ESAB have helped me with a volunteer who takes me swimming every week to keep active, and they also helped me with mobility. I’ve got more involved by going to the social groups and it’s been nice building friendships with people”

Keith Cleaver, Hove Member
