MODULE 4 – Kitchen Confidence
We allow up to 8 visually impaired candidates to attend with volunteer assistance.
In this module we will cover:
Cutting, peeling, slicing and safety in the kitchen, talking scales and microwaves, weighing, measuring and pouring safely.
Prior to lunch we’ll put our new skills into practice by preparing a two course lunch as a group – so no packed lunch required!
In the morning you’ll hear about Social Services and how to register. After lunch we cover some of the basic activities and necessary skills for your own safety and independent living.
